Installation Guide

1. 1Install the RUDX App — scan the QR code in the box or visit rudx.in/app
2. 2Connect to the camera Wi-Fi network: Rudx-Dashcam-2k-Pro-****
3. 3Default camera password: 12345678

1. 1Turn off the car engine before starting installation.
2. 2Insert the micro SD card into the recorder slot. Use a high-speed SD card (Class 10 or above), minimum 8GB and maximum 128GB.
3. 3Fix the recorder on the front windscreen behind the rearview mirror, and connect the power wire to the recorder first.
4. 4Connect the yellow wire to the 12V power supply, the red ACC wire to the ignition control, and the black wire to ground. The extension cord can be laid along the windshield edge for a clean install.
5. 5Start the engine — if the red indicator light is on and flashing, the recorder has started recording successfully.
6. 6Adjust the lens position so it is level with the ground, then test all functions before finishing the wiring.

• Make sure your phone is connected to the camera Wi-Fi (Rudx-Dashcam-2k-Pro-****).
• Install and open the RUDX App.
• Create an account with your mobile number and log in.
• Tap the "Connect to Camera" button on the home screen.
• Once connected, the app will sync time from your phone and prompt you to format the SD card on first use.
• You can now view the live feed, browse recordings, and manage settings.

• Restart the camera and the app, then try connecting again.
• Ensure your phone is connected to the camera's Wi-Fi network, not your home or mobile data.
• Move your phone closer to the camera — the Wi-Fi range is short by design.
• Check that the RUDX app has all required permissions (camera, local network, storage).
• If issues persist, uninstall and reinstall the app.
